Dave Wolverton

Dave Wolverton's first novel, On My Way to Paradise was based on a short story of the same name that won the L.Ron Hubbard Gold Award for the Writers of the Future Story of the Year in 1987. The full length novel won the Philip K. Dick Memorial Special Award as one of the outstanding science fiction novels of 1989.

He has been employed as a technical writer for the computer industry, a prison guard, and a missionary. He has strong interests in paleontology, neurology, genetic engineering and physics.
